This signature was created by "Code Project Quoter".GetMail (the one that forwards your hotmail to gmail) doesn't seem to work. When I do a little packet sniffing I notice that when he connects to hotmail he gets a 302 (object moved?) and never reports an error, just says that there were no messages to import. Give me one more medicated peaceful moment

This signature was created by "Code Project Quoter".Personally I'm a little bit worried about these tools - particularly those that mean you don't have to use the GMail web interface to collect your mails - as I see it, the main reason that the big G have done it is for the advertising that goes on the page - having only just got my GMail account, I'm really worried that they'll chop it for stuff like that..... I have made a partial solution though - in Outlook, have set the homepage for my Personal Folders folder to https://gmail.google.com - which means that instead of crappy Outlook today, I get the GMail page up - combine it with the "Dont ask my password again for two weeks", and I have full access to both normal mail and GMails through Outlook. It's not perfect however - the GMail page seems to spontaneously refresh and steal the focus....also, when first clicking on the Personal Folders icon, I get a message that says I must have cookies enabled in my browser, but a quick click on the "Try Again" link seems to send me straight through to my mailbox...wierd! All in all, gotta say that really like GMail - the conversations feature is particularly cool - wonder how long before Micro$oft cannibalise the idea and slap it into Outlook / Hotmail et al....
