Seem pretty cool - anyone know if the framework 2.0 will co-exist with 1.1 on a machine? "Now I guess I'll sit back and watch people misinterpret what I just said......" Christian Graus At The Soapbox

I downloaded it at home this morning, quite a fast download, and started the install, rebooted, and it was still installing when I left ( stuck at the 99% mark for a while ). hopefully, when I come home tonight, I can try it out.

Every version of the .NET Framework runs side-by-side, as well as assemblies targeting different versions and even versioned themselves. That's what the features (read: points) of .NET - to end DLL hell. You might run into problems 1) because this is a beta, and 2) if you install Framework versions in reverse order (like install .NET 1.1, then 1.0). Other than that, you should be fine.

I have a question regarding the betas: For which of them can you actually download the full setup (because I can only download them with a reasonable speed here at work, and that is a Mac..)? Or is it just a windows installer stub for all of them that tries to download the rest during setup?? Cheers from NYC and thanks Martin "Situation normal - all fu***d up" Illuminatus! http://www.martin-haesemeyer.de
