It's a little tricky in that when he joined the Taliban, they weren't fighting the US. Despite that however, once the US became involved, he picked sides. As far as I'm concerned, he decided to be a traitor, and should be judged on that. Just one British perspective:- Do not sink to the depths of the people you are fighting . Put him on trial for treason , or whatever the American equivilant is , and then use the force of law to prosecute him. Sorry to be pedantic but. Johnny Walker is a scotch whisky and therefore doesn't have an 'e' between the 'k' and 'y'. Irish whiskey, American whiskey and scotch whisky. As for the other question, I think the whole situation has brought the worst out in everyone so stories like that are no longer a surprise to me. The process of de-sensitisation (don't know if thats a word!!) has begun, and there ain't shit we can do about it. :((
