Need Power-of-Attorney form ASAP

Hey guys, Krista's in the hospital and I need a power-of-attorney form urgently so we can close on our house. We have to close today so I don't have time to go to an attorney and ours is out of town. I'd be careful. You'll need what's called a "specific power of attorney" and when real estate is involved, it can get tricky. Each state can have different requirements. It might be best if you contact your closing agent (title company?) to get the required form filled in with whatever your state may require. Title companies have attorneys.

This one[^] is very broad coverage. If you need one that is real estate specific, check with the local Board of Realtors office. Most have a forms library and a supply for members to purchase. Oooh, just found this[^]! There's probably a form here that will do the trick. Some are free, others have a small charge attached. I haven't a clue about the form, but I just wanted to let you know that I hope Krista is doing well. Jeremy Falcon
