I can imagine the sinking feeling one would have after ordering my book, only to find a laughably ridiculous theory with demented logic once the book arrives - Mark McCutcheon

Like more money advertising, free software, who knows. It's no secret that CP is the best programming site on the net...and it's obviously in favour of windows technologies. IHMO It's common knowledge that popular OSS is more efficient, cost-effective and secure/bug free than it's propritary MS counterparts. Both have their ups and downs, i'll agree, but where open source is usually best for tech savvy individuals MS makes a tradeoff between pure performance for a more commercial ease of use quality software. I'm willing to bet that OSS OS,etc are still in the lead as far as web servers are concerned.
