New Development Blog
-
Well i am trying to learn .net and c# by writing a new application. Been doing c++ now for years but can't convince the office to go the c# route. Instead i lost the battle to java  and have decided to continue learning anyway. I started a blog which i have also never done on the development of the new app. It's really a pretty simple app but i figured a blog might allow some codeproject people to suggest features/techniques as i develop it. Unfortunalty one will have to leave codeproject to view it. But if anyone is interested http://www.burial666.com/blog.html It's nothing fancy and uses blogger but it works. Thanks in advance

Can anyone tell me how to put the link to the blog so you can just click it here from the forum?

We are doing some embedded development and i guess my requests for the .net compact framework being used fell on deaf ears because of a few anti microsoft people. The usual fight. So i said well fine embedded in java but client apps in .net !!! No luck there either no basis for argument just some load about multiplatform when in reality 99.999999% of customer base is windows. Really boils down to more anti-microsoft people than people like me who think the programming environment microsoft puts out is lightyears ahead of anything java has done. Borland J-Builder is torture, but so is the market for jobs so for now java during the day, C# at night!!!!
