But I'm happy that Roger Federer is still in the Game, he has won against Agassi and the Wind! ;) Greets Roland

Definitely!!! He is also an amazing player to watch! ------ I am the sole owner of all comments/statements made by myself, and they do not represent those of my company in any way. Furthermore, it’s a shame it has come to the point where we have to make statements like this. Cheers! ====================== Matthew R. Miller www.computersmarts.net[^]

Was it at a crucial point in the match ? Otherwise I think it can be excused. Serena was hard done by. I won't blame any conspiracy theorists since I went around town in 2002 yelling at the top of my voice (to anyone who would listen) that Italy and Spain were robbed in the soccer world cup. "One of the Georges," said Psmith, "I forget which, once said that a certain number of hours' sleep a day--I cannot recall for the moment how many--made a man something, which for the time being has slipped my memory."

It kind of was.. it was one of Andy’s signature HUGE serves that was clearly in… and was called out! He was starting gain momentum again after being down 2 sets… it didn’t help at all.. Plus the whole night one of the line judges was standing at a really bad angle (being blocked by the player) and Andy had a huge problem with it… because she couldn’t see anything. Oh well… you win some you lose some. ------ I am the sole owner of all comments/statements made by myself, and they do not represent those of my company in any way. Is anyone following the US Open? Yeah he was last night!!! Not trying to make excuses but there were some shady call by the ump. in the match. Seems to be the whole tournament has been that way… a judge was let go after calling blatant wrong calls on Serena Williams. ------ I am the sole owner of all comments/statements made by myself, and they do not represent those of my company in any way. The same could be said about the officials at the olympics too... As far as the tennis goes, why if we can get instant replays and have McEnroe (who seems to be right all the time without technology) call the shots correctly, why can't the replays and shotspot (or whatever it's called) be shown to the umpires? Personally I have to take their word for it, even in slow motion it can be a bit of a blur  Gary

Its a pity. Federer-Roddick would have been an awesome match :sigh: "One of the Georges," said Psmith, "I forget which, once said that a certain number of hours' sleep a day--I cannot recall for the moment how many--made a man something, which for the time being has slipped my memory."

:envy: You're watching it live ?! "One of the Georges," said Psmith, "I forget which, once said that a certain number of hours' sleep a day--I cannot recall for the moment how many--made a man something, which for the time being has slipped my memory."

Oh... that's really cool :) I wish I lived in queens... the other night after a rain delay the stadium was empty so they let anyone living in the queens area in to the stadium and moved everyone down closer!!! ------ I am the sole owner of all comments/statements made by myself, and they do not represent those of my company in any way. The tournament I really want to watch though in Wimbledon. I wish I could have watched it between 88-95 or so. That was easily my favorite era. I or one am for Instant Replay… or Hawk Eye as it is called in tennis where the computer generates a replay of the ball digitally – very cool. I think swimming is another one where umps should be allowed to see the under-water cameras that we see. SO MANY ILLEGAL TURNS :) … oh well the USTA is debating on if they should implement it or not. Roddick said in some interview that he likes how it is in Football where each team has two challenges – and thinks something like that should be implemented for tennis. Might not be a bad idea. ------ I am the sole owner of all comments/statements made by myself, and they do not represent those of my company in any way.
