Its old but one of my favorite lines is from Kinky Friedman: "They ain't making Jews like Jesus anymore" "They don't turn the other cheek - the way they did before" and from some newer stuff how about "Its hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your ass out all day long" Richard "Under certain circumstances, profanity provides a relief denied even to prayer --Mark Twain (1835 - 1910)

I wake up every morning to 'The Glorious Burden', the trilogy about the Civil War on the last Iced Earth album. No real stand out lyrics, just great from start to finish. I've read the book enough times that I can visualise the battles as I listen. Christian I have several lifelong friends that are New Yorkers but I have always gravitated toward the weirdo's. - Richard Stringer

jeez, where to start... floyd: "fearlessly the indian faced the crowd, smiling. merciless the magistrate turned 'round, firing. and who's the fool who wears the crown?" there are a million more from floyd ("you missed the starting gun" etc.), but i think this one takes the crown in my books. dave matthews: "hey, my love, you came to me like wine come's to this mouth. grown tired of water all the time, you quench my heart and love you quench my mind let's celebrate." - two step and... "would you not like to be, sitting on top of the world with your leg's hanging free..." - lie in our graves jack johnson: "we used to laugh alot, but only because we thought that everything good always would remain." - mud football mason jennings: " i was driving faster through the appalachians i could see the world go out below me in the sun you should know by now that someone's always been there long before you you're never going to be the only one." - Darkness between the fireflies these are just a few that i've pulled off of my playlist from today. and i'm in a mellow mood can we take this thread over to the soapbox now so that i can quote some "Rage against the machine" lyrics?
