Are You a Wine or Beer Drinker?

I'm a wine drinker :-D I drink a couple of bottles of wine a week (together with my wife), but only about 1 beer, or less, a month... Right now my favorite wine is a "Angove's CR, 1998" (Shiraz Grape) from Southern Australia. :-D - Anders Money talks, but all mine ever says is "Goodbye!"

Both? Although not much of either. About 1 glass of wine or 1 bottle of beer a week.

Both, but I prefer beer. Somewhere between my second and fourth quart my dart game gets much better, though it tapers off a bit after the fifth.

Neither. I'm a tequila and scotch drinker. Not heavy drinking though, I'll get a buzz just opening the darn bottle! Foot-and-Mouth disease is believed to be the first virus unable to spread through Microsoft Outlook

I prefer wine to beer, but don't get to drink much anway. When I do, I usually prefer a Merlot. My beverages of choice are Coke, coffee and water. /ravi "There is always one more bug..." http://www.ravib.com ravib@ravib.com

Both. Being in Australia means we're totally spoiled when it comes to good wine and it's pretty hard to go wrong when choosing. As to beer I used to think we had some great beer but, at the risk of being deported, I'd have to say that I prefer the beeer in Canada. cheers, Chris Maunder

I don't drink alcohol. Coffee to program, coffee to sleep, coffee to wake, and coffee to eat. Coffee is very important to many Americans.

Is vodka a wine? When it comes to wines I can't really appreciate them, so I don't bother drinking them. As to beer - they all tast like Bob's urine (at least all the ones i've ever had do), so I don't bother with them either. I prefer to go for the alcopops or *mild* coctails, with the rare shot of tequilla and even rarer shot of neat vodka. X| I'm also a Pimms drinker believe it or not, and a self admitted coke addict - as in coca cola not cocaine. I don't drink coffee as I can't stand the smell of it. Just don't ask for a "bloody mary" in Tiverton, or you might be shocked by what you get. They don't waste anything round here... Definitely a beer drinker. For some reason the sulfites in wine give me a nasty headache and a whopping hangover. And on top of that, I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to beer. I enjoy good beer rather than the macrobrewed crap (Budweiser, Miller, Coors, Fosters, et al). I even came up with a site where hard core beer drinkers can rate beers they've had and of course, view all of the ratings to see how they compare. It's turning out to be a lot of fun and we've collected more than 40,000 ratings .... oh, sorry, it's starting to sound like spam now. :> Bill Great beers as rated by those who drink them. While I can definitley enjoy a good wine and savour a cold beer on a storming hot day I far prefer drinking spirits. The main reason is that wine and beer give me a really horrid hangover, even after just a few glasses. Yet with spirits I can knock back half a bottle and only have a mild rough tongue the next day. Living in SA though we have a fine choice of wines and beers. Our wines regularly win awards as do our beers. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa Do you Sonork? Wow David, same as me. I can't really tolerate the taste of lager or beer. I tend to stay on the cocktails when out, trying my best not to mix. Neat vodka always makes me pull a funny face (especially when downing a double shot), but it gets the job done quick i suppose. Simon Hey, it looks like you're writing a letter! Sonork ID 100.10024
