Yeah, that was great. But, I'm afraid I'll be cheering for the Cardinals if they make it to the WS. I'm assuming everyone will be cheering for the Cardinals tonight right?

As a matter of fact I think that the two best teams in the AL ( and therefore the best two teams in baseball ) next year will be the Texas Rangers ( if they get any pitching help offseason ) and the Yankees ( if they can get some left handed pitching help ). The Yanks will peobably try to get Carlos Beltran to replace Williams in center and move Williams to the DH position. I just thought it was odd that you'd cheer for a team you dont like, simply because they're in a league you like. In the NHL, the style of play between the East and the West is rather significant, with mostly Western teams being faster paced and more aggresive with lots of energy and excitement, and the Eastern teams having a real snooze-style of play where you bore your opponents (and fans) to death. (Can you guess which division my favorite team is in? :-D ) But even then, I'd still wouldnt cheer for the Western team simply because they're in the West. Regardless, it shows you how hockey-starved I am, that's I'm watching baseball :-D ('cept the NYY-BOS series: I watch those whenever I can because they really do hate each other!) Thanks for the info though: I was always curious about why the Jays are in the AL and the Expos *were* :(( in the NL.
