One of my coworkers ran across this thing: www.gyration.com/gyromouse.htm[^]. Kinda interesting mouse that you can use in-air w/o desk. Alex Korchemniy

Geez, it's bad enough to have to remove my hand from the keyboard. With that I have to lift the mouse up and wag it around? No thanks. And that animation on their website just screams "repetitive stress injury"! :-D Marc MyXaml Advanced Unit Testing

Personally i like the touchpad on my HP laptop. A lot better than taking my hands off the keyboard. Alex Korchemniy

We have been using these (along with the companion keyboards) for our trade show booth for just over two years. Once you get use to the extra trigger (bottom of the mouse), they are remarkably easy to use. Steve

My wife won't use a mouse, she insists on using the horrible blob in the middle of the keyboard. X|

Been around for a few years. Great for presentations, because it is wireless (one model has a 200 foot range!) and you use it in the air. Then put it on a desk when you just want a regular mouse. Nobody claims it is better in the air than on a desk. However if you are standing in front of a group you don't need that much control, just enough that you can jump ahead/back when someone asks a question that requries a different slide. When you put it on the desk it is no better or worse than any other mouse from what I hear.

It's great, I use it on my Media Center, with the associated keyboard. Its more a tilt than a waggle :) Gary While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.' - Dilbert
