Red and green could also signify the beginning of carnival time, today at 11:11:11. This is not meant to offend citizens of the empire. :rose: _________________________________ nur Idioten brauchen einen Führer

In some regions of Germany, people are totally mad for carnival. They start celebrating nonsense at 11/11 11:11:11, and go on until february. Luckily, I don't live in one of those regions :| _________________________________ nur Idioten brauchen einen Führer

I used to leave in West Germany and Berlin, I can say I've never heard that story before.

Don't expect any logic near the river Rhine. Carnival is over at 02/09 00:00:00. Jörgen Sigvardsson wrote: Wir müssen leben bis wir sterben. Have you ever thought about sueing your parents? It's their fault that you have to live. (Sorry, I love your signature. Couldn't resist, again *g*)

In 1918, on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the guns fell silent and World War I ended. Note: world war, nothing to do with empire! I just noticed the red spot on Bob's chest. Must have been reading the image from the cache earlier. Could the spot perhaps be a poppy, I don't know if the poppy has the same significance in other countries as here in the UK but here we pin a poppy (an artificial one, not an actual flower) to our clothes in remembrance. The reason we wear poppies can be found [here](<a href=)[^] if anyone wants to know. SuzyB If I had a better memory I would remember more.

We remember those who have died in war so hopefully leaders will take more time to find a peaceful solution. The human cost of war must never be forgotten :(( The tigress is here :-D
