About 220Kph in my '77 Chevy Malibu POS back in '86. That's when the door windows were pulled out of their seals. One broken in half and vanished into the night. Then, in 1991, about 260-270Kph in a friends MINT condition 1969 Shelby Cobra GT500 (no, I didn't drive!) The entire drive train was anything but stock - 428ci, 6-pack, NOS, ... He "stole" the car from a little old lady in Port Huron, MI for $13,500 and then dropped anther $30,000 in restoration and build-up. He was offered $65,000 for the car back in 1992 at an auto show in Detroit, but wouldn't sell. Can't really blame him! Ah yeah. The caffeine kickstart after a nap. Much better for one than good ol' speed. :) Chris Meech I am Canadian. [heard in a local bar] Gently arching his fishing rod back he moves the tip forward in a gentle arch releasing the line.... kersplunk [Doug Goulden]

              kph-1 = k / h * h-1 = k / h / h = k * h / h = k. Did your BMW break down after 200km? ;) -- Weiter, weiter, ins verderben. Wir müssen leben bis wir sterben. I blog too now[^]

Car; 180kph in my little 1.3litre Tazz going downhill with a stiff wind behind me. Powerboat; 60mph and holy crap does it feel faster than that. Any speed on water feels a whole lot more than on land. Bits of sand from the deck up front felt like needles embedding themselves in my face. regards, Paul Watson South Africa Michael Dunn wrote: "except the sod who voted this a 1, NO SOUP FOR YOU" Crikey! ain't life grand?

I've gone almost 100mph in a jet boat and that scared the hell out of me. I was in a fishing boat with a 200HP Mercury and we were going 85 in the rain. It felt like someone was throwing drops of acid in my face. [Edit] This was supposed to be in reply to Paul Watson's message above. I tried twice and it kept putting in the wrong thread.
