Done tastefully, it might be considered art... I'm particularly fond of French Maid outfits. An apple a day, keeps the doctor away... It helps to have a steady aim...

Not that I'm particularly expressive, but what exactly is illegal? The term is a bit vague on the Internet. Could you clarify some, perhaps? Filth is in the mind of the beholder!

If you are about to upload a pic and you think 'I wonder if this will get me in trouble' then the chances are: yes, it will get you in trouble ;) I'm not sure about India, but in Australia and the US there are strict laws regarding offensive material on the net (certain types of pr0n, for instance). cheers, Chris Maunder

Bowing to popular demand (and also the fact that I've got a ton of boringh stuff I should be doing, but did this instead) you can now upload images that will be displayed in the 'who's who' pages, and next to your bio at the bottom of your articles. BTW - no abuse of this facility will be tolerated. Post a pic that is offensive, degrading or downright illegal and your account gets flagged as having no images allowed permanently. If the system is abused generally then it gets scrapped. "Don't you have more important things to be doing?" I hear you all cry. Yes. Yes I do. cheers, Chris Maunder

Chris Just my 4 cents ? [due to the low exchange rate ] I don't blame you about the abuse idea, But don't you think 100x120 is awful small and a 35k limit is excessive for that size ? Regardz Colin J Davies

100 x 120 fits nicely in the 'biography' section at the bottom of articles. For a JPG or GIF, 5-10Kb of that size is normal, but for a bitmap, 35Kb is about right. I still get article submissions where the image format is .bmp, so I'm allowing this format for those poor souls. cheers, Chris Maunder

Actually No! I think 100x120 is just right. Cool :-) I went looking for a pic to upload, and realized I don't have very many pictures of myself (imagine that!). Most of the pictures that I do have of myself, my face was turned half sideways, too close to someone else, or are from a week long train trip I took last spring (meaning not the nicest). Not to say that the one I uploaded is the nicest, I'm sure  . In fact I thought I should explain the expression on my face.
