Adobe Acrobat not opening
-
My Version is Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional. I was able to use it for quite sometime, however just recently, for some reason that I don't know, it stop working. The case is this: Everytime I open my Adobe, it just run up until it flashes the main screen. Then it didn't load it's application. When I look into my Windows Task Manager's Processes button, I saw that Acrobat.exe is there and it's consuming much CPU and memory usage (of upto 100%). Reading PDF books is very important to the nature of my work so please help me as soon as possible.. THanks!:) ---------------------- Seeing the infinite...

Perhaps you've already tried this, if not you could try uninstalling and reinstalling the software.

I was quite skeptical at first, but now I think version 7 is a real improvement. It opens and renders quicker than version 5, which was an order of magnitude faster than the glacial version 6. The gradient toolbars are still pretty annoying though, as is the animated ad in the top-right corner. Stability. What an interesting concept. -- Chris Maunder

You might have a plug-in that got added to acrobat. Try doing something like this: http://dotnetjunkies.com/WebLog/darrell.norton/archive/2003/10/06/2095.aspx[^]

If it is anything like the problem with Acrobat Reader (flash the splash screen, hand, use all the CPU cycles), delete the files in your %temp% directory.
