Without the MSDN Library that is. Installation was full except the Library, J++ and Crystal Reports, and done from an image on the local disk. I just love my new 15K rpm SCSI Disks :-D (in a whole new computer) - Anders Bill's Bar

Nice, Anders!:-D I tried installing NS .Net 2003 yesterday, but no luck. It insists that I insert the Prerequisites CD first, but I don't have one.:sigh: "If it's Snowbird season, why can't we shoot them?" - Overheard in a bar in Bullhead City

Bah! 15K rpm is so 2001 :) Sorry couldn't resist. Got 4 15K's in my homecomputer (from 01). Loves the speed, hates the noise. Another downside are that the disks are so darn pricey for the size. Next one will get something a bit less nosiy (and less heatgenerating :) ). And suddenly you realize / Nothing here is what it seems / You are beyond the looking glass / Like Alice and the red queen Red Queen, Funker Vogt

I hope that they have made some progress in the "noise department" during the last years otherwise I'm sad to inform you, dear friend, that you are deaf :) The time to install VS is just fantastic though. Stefan Pedersen wrote: otherwise I'm sad to inform you, dear friend, that you are deaf Hehe, I'm just used to a dual Xeon 2.8 with way too many fans in, so this one is very silent compared to my old one :-D Stefan Pedersen wrote: The time to install VS is just fantastic though. Yep, and since it's been some years since I had SCSI drives in my workstation last time, I've totally forgotten that they are to disks what dual processors are to the rest of the machine. I mean, no matter what it's working on and how much disk I/O going on there is virtually no waiting when asking it to do other stuff at the same time, (S)ATA disks just don't respond that way :-D - Anders Bill's Bar
