Blow me down and pour me a blessed one. The lads D'd up like the heroes they are and we got away with a win. Acceptable game from the poisoned dwarf and all. Streuth’ I'm going to have to find a new target. "I think the difference between the Lads recently and in earlier games has been the ferocious gang tackling of the hapless opponents. St Laurie would be reasonably satisfied." Amen Brother Withheld. Walking away from the Japie leg with 2 wins, a bonus point and one of those grins on ya chops than can only be improved by mixing a Speight’s with it was a good result for all concerned - unless you're an evil cheating Japie, which we're not. The lads are now placed a creditable 5th on the table, not quite where they deserve to be but you don't want to over extend yourself early on. Speaking of overextension, the Show Ponies took a dive against the Sharks - said Sharks lost a week before to...well the Lads actually. Not a convict commentator in sight. Bugger. Anyway that’s a great bit of news. Mr Withheld was in two minds; "I would have loved to hear some convict commentators explain that away. Actually I wouldn't. I have decided the only thing worse than a Labour Party supporter is a Convict rugby commentator - stupid, foul minded, lying, cheating, one eyed bigoted dorks. They quite put a man off his footy. Because of them I've decided that henceforth in a match between a convict team and a Japie team, I'll support the Japie team." Fair play Mr Withheld I couldn't have put it more eloquently myself. Though I dunno about supporting evil cheating Japies - perhaps I'll hope for draws with lots of injuries to both sides instead. Happy Japie Gaggle count: 1 - but it was against the Convicts so we're all rejoicing for them. Namibians just thought I'd chuck that in for effect. Saw a bunch of them (well ok two Namibians) having coffee near the ARU, talking rugby of all things. Funny lot those ARU blokes, first thing they do with their ill gotten gains from the World Cup is to move orifices from grotty ones in Mount St(North Sydney) to big flash ones in Walker St(North Sydney) with naming rights, grass roots spending of course. That Gopperth joker for the Canes is kicking proverbial, so it was with great delight he managed to secure a game ruined by a convict referee. Droppie in the dying moments of a game - that'll keep Sir Jive on his toes. If Jim-boy keeps that up and we'll all be wearing shades. Crap ref, crap game - adequate result. Beat some Japies, that’s always a good start to the we

Why do the Super 12s games rate so poorly on Aussie TV?
