Thanks to everyone who asks C++ questions here on CP, I think that's the main reason I've been made an MVP. Christian I have several lifelong friends that are New Yorkers but I have always gravitated toward the weirdo's. - Richard Stringer

Well deserved, I know I have learned quite a bit from your articles and answers to questions.

No, they ask you. I got an email asking for personal info because I'd been nominated, then apparently it's put up for a vote on the MVP website ( Nish told me about that bit ). Then I got a parcel in the mail :-) I'm still totally stoked about it. I don't feel like I deserved it at all ( thanks to all who have suggested otherwise, but really.... ). How do one become an MVP again? Do you need to submit application to Microsoft? How's this done? Norman Fung

First off, Congratulations Christian. That is an accomplishment that you should be stoked about. Secondly, try congratulating the guy before throwing your demands, self-interests and wishes out. So many people today only think about themselves. Chris

Yeah, I was under the impression it went to a vote - I figured all the CP MVP's would be on to me :P Christian I have several lifelong friends that are New Yorkers but I have always gravitated toward the weirdo's. - Richard Stringer

Nah, that's the VB6 MVPs, they live on the other side of town. You know, where the windows are all broken, and everything is covered in graffiti.
