Real Basic

Even though this is a majority C++ site ... i'm sure there are many other Developers here who dabble in VB ... and for that matter VB6 I stumbled across this (I beleive it was originally posted on Joel's site) and think its worthy of checking out http://www.realbasic.com/vb6/index.php?id=HFXQLTQH[^] this link is for a FREE version (standard Edition) for VB 6 Developers ... The id= at the end will get me some kudos from them but feel free to drop it if you don't wanna share the love ... regardless, it is pretty cool ... The professional version will produce Win32 / MAC (Classic and OSX) / and Linux Binaries ... My limited testing so far reveals that I can take a VB6 app and convert it to a Real Basic App and Real Basic REMOVES the VB Runtime depends .... swank Did I mention it was Free ? And now back to your regularly scheduled Lounge chatter ;-) Cheers qcha0s
