The biggie, IMO, is that it now requires XP SP2, that's the IDE AND the framework. Christian Graus - Microsoft MVP - C++

I'm really surprised that so many sofrware developers are baulking at having to do a set of instructions in a prescribed order. There's some irony in there, somewhere. cheers, Chris Maunder

Bah, if we liked doing fixed sets of instructions in a prescribed order, we'd be accountants, not programmers. But we're a lazy, impatient bunch - leave the boring, sequential stuff to computers. Medication for us all You think you know me, well you're wrong

The exact order? :wtf: Sheesh, the beta 2 installer should be responsible for any requirement/uninstall issues.

Don't forget this is largely to clean up from previous betas which weren't intended to be as high quality. The last VS.NET 2005 I installed was one of the CTPs, which was never intended to be 'uninstallable'. In any case, I'm still waiting for it to download... still, should be finished by the end of today. -- Paul MS Messenger: paul -at- oobaloo-co-uk
