Ripped off by an IT training agency and I need advice
-
Hi, Last November I slapped £6000 to enrol on an IT training course, that promised me teaching to pass my exams and also a guarenteed job at the end of the scheme, if I passed all relavent exams. However I am now 6 months into the course and for 90% I have been having to teach myself the knowledge I need to pass the exams. They taught me by a student that had recently passed the exams himself and only taught around 1/20th of the information I need for the MCSD.net exam. Now I am going to try and get my money become to some extent. I was wondering if anybody new whether it is worth complaining to Microsoft as the company I am with, ICS (London), is Microsoft Certified. If anyone has any information on avenues I maybe able to take then it would be much appreciated. I intend to visit the Citizen's advice buereau next week. Many thanks in advance Paul

You need more for a job than simply a certificate. If this certificate was so good in getting you a job, you wouldn't need a guarenteed job, right? I see dead pixels Yes, even I am blogging now!

You probably already know this now, but next time go with a name you either trust or who can be vouched for by people you know and trust. Cheers, Tom Archer - Archer Consulting Group
