I am VERY specific about what I eat...it's just me...I get really grossed out when I find a hair in my french fries at McDonald's...so a finger would be WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to far... Out of anger towards getting a finger in my food would be my main reason for suing...not so much the cash... It's frustrating being a genius and living the life of a moron!!!

Somehow I don't think you would be nearly as emotionally wrought as the guy who JUST CUT OFF AND LOST THE END OF HIS FINGER. If you're about to disagree, first ask yourself what you would rather have happen: Find a finger in your food or lose one of your own. But hey, we gots to gets PAID. - F

If you only knew what was all in your food you would never eat anything ever again.

Especially as he admitted to going to McDonald's. I saw a TV program about the production process and I'm never eating there again.

If the finger finder can sue for finding the finger, the finger loser should sue the finger finder for theft of finger...after all the loser did not sell or give the tip away... Steve

Good thought I really hope the finger loser can sue the finger finder back to the stone age. Regardz Colin J Davies The most LinkedIn CPian (that I know of anyhow) :-)

I think he took your sig as part of the message. "Cheers" It can be misread. I do not mind getting old. It beats all the other options that can think of.

I did not think the sig is part of the message. I just wanted to point out that sometimes the signature could be misread for a grave message like this one, but don't get me wrong, there is nothing personal here, I have my full respect for Tom (with a collection of his books to prove that :). Correct me if I am wrong or blame it on the fact that English is not my mother tongue but I think 'Cheers' sounds like a toast to celebrate something. It was on TV a couple of weeks ago. I just saw the trailers and that was enough to re-enforce my dislike for McDonald's, Burger King and the like.
