What Sound Software to Split an MP3 Audio File

I have a recorded Radio Show (about 1 hour) as a mp3 file that I would like to split in several tracks. Which free (I don't want to spend a lot of Money only for this task) Audio Software would you suggest to do this Task under Windows? Greets Roland

I agree; Audacity is the way to go if you ask me. If people know of a better or equal application I'd like to know about it though. : Dean Michaud

I don't think it does batch processing. I'm also looking for a mp3/wav file splitting tool, I think I will eventually make my own, a nice small pet project.
