Who thought this was a good photo to use for a front cover shot about a product that is supposed to become a central technology in the family living room? I think he looks like he's thinking about how much money he's going to make. They probably even added wrinkle lines to make Bill look friendly, daddy'ish, and wise, but youthful and energetic at the same time.
