        But mIRC isn't free anymore Well actually it never was, but now the shareware trial expires :-\ The irc client in trillian is pretty good -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit! Buzzwords!

            It does. There's only a handful of messages you really need to know to use it. Off the top of my head: Server: PING :[blah] Reply: PONG [blah] Which you have to be careful with and get right. To send a message PRIVMSG [target] message and a couple of bits you need to do on startup (USER and NICK and JOIN). Easy :-)

                          I have trillian, but I didn't see an option to let me log into an IRC server and go into a group chat. Is it there? Am I missing it? Thanks, Jerry
