I know just what you mean, and believe it or not the cause could be a lack of sleep! I once pulled off 36 consecutive waking hours, and was unable to get a decent nights sleep for many nights afterwards until I got back into my regular pattern again. I guess my body was thinking that you must be awake for some important-to-your-survival reason, so does it's best to helpfully delay sleep. Even if that isn't the cause, the solution is really quite simple. Whenever I have had difficulty getting to sleep - even on those extremely rare occasions when it is too humid to even breath comfortably - drinking warm milk was the way to go. Warmth helps you to feel tired (that's why we wash with cold water in the morning to wake up), and milk has some kind of sedative properties. If like me you cannot drink neat milk because of the taste, try a hot chocolate. Don't use anything like a cupasoup (or you will be pissing all night - thus keeping you awake) and don't use coffee (it's obvious, but you'd be surprised how many people don't make the connection!) For some reason the water in milk takes longer to filter into your urine so you wont be up all night in the bathroom, but be prepared for a long and enjoyable "flow" in the morning... ________________ David Wulff http://www.davidwulff.co.uk "DON'T MOVE! Cut out the caffeine after 4pm, don't eat a large meal before you go to sleep, get plenty of exercise (go for a walk for 30-60 mins after dinner). cheers, Chris Maunder

I used to think too much when I was going to sleep. I'd find myself lying there thinking about everything and nothing all at the same time. I would toss and turn until the wee morning hours. I find that if I veg out, completely relax, and clear my mind of everything, I never have any problems falling alseep. So relax, don't think about anything (don't even think about not thinking about anything), and enjoy your rest. :) Works for me. I can only hope it works for you. Jon Sagara What about :bob:?

I can't believe you wrote that. Women are not just objects to be used for relieving stress or as sperm depositories. How are women supposed to feel with men having attitudes like that? If you were in the U.S. you would be trained at an early age to respect women as equals. Just because England is a backwards country doesn't excuse you from posting such chauvinistic rhetoric online. It may someday come back to bite you in the arse. I  :bob:

Err, right mate. Which part of "joke" do you not understand? Besides whic, what part of that statement was chauvinistic, and what part mentioned women? I was very careful not to make that sentance sexist in any way. If anything, your lack or perception shows your closed mindset when it comes to sexuality, especially for a twenty eight year old. What David Wulff means is that whenever he is stressed out, he goes to his wife or girlfriend and uses their bodies for sexual release, thereby giving him a state of relaxation and comfort. He is also recommending that everyone else have the same types of relationships with women as he does, i.e., merely using the female form as a stress reliever or a human toilet. If I wanted to infer a female, I would have said "woman". My statement is open ended, and you can insert whatever the hell you like in there, be it man, woman or goat. That was by design to stop people who are high on themselves and their social/peer standings from initiating attacks on my character. Obviously this did not work. And you can infer what you like from that. We have life skills lessons, which teach us (surprisingly) skills we will need in life. Sexual equality is taught to us "specifically" in Primary school RE classes, though it need not be. (I believe you call them elementary schools). ________________ David Wulff http://www.davidwulff.co.uk "DON'T MOVE!
