That looks suspiciously like the browser i'm using right now! :omg: My system must have been accidentally updated with an internal Microsoft prototype while i slept! Funny how they've changed the spelling of "Internet Explorer" though... all those extra 'z's and 'x's... :rolleyes:

How about a pop-up blocker that works? Or maybe a "cancel" button that doesn't hang for 5 seconds. Or some stability. Or... RSS feeds. Wow. That's great guys. Concentrate on a solid, extensible product and leave the fun and gimmicks to the community who no doubt will do a better job. cheers, Chris Maunder

Yawn. :zzz: I have a hard time getting excited about bug fixes and modest features, even if it's touted as a Major New Release. Brand loyalties and minor differences aside, a browser's just a browser. It hasn't been exciting for years. How about turning all that highly touted MS talent loose to create new and useful software instead? I can already view web pages. Dunno about blocking popups (I use separate software for that), but I can assure you that Firefox is rock solid. The only time I've had problems, is with the quicktime plugin. But that's more likely a problem with the plugin, rather than Firefox itself. Good music: In my rosary[^]

I've been using Avant for almost a year now, after trying Crazy Browser and MyIE2 (they've changed their name a while ago), and I must say I'm very happy with it. All of them are IE front ends though. After reading all the time how much more secure FireFox is compared to IE, I decided to give FireFox a try. From a UI point of view it was a big disappointment. Very limited configuration options, you cannot even hide it in the system tray. Provided IE is not too much of a security liability for you, give Avant a try. And about your concern, Avant is not ad supported. OGR

I've noticed the same problem as Michael dealing with media files and tabs. However, since I've had too many bad expirences with coding for IE, I'm a little biased towards anything else these days.
