On a general estimate these are some of the things I'd find physically/generally attractive in a woman (1) Nicely kept fingers [and finger nails] (2) Attractive and elegant footwear (3) Not too much hair but at least enough hair till the shoulders (4) Nice easy soothing kind of voice (5) Being affectionate [sometimes I like my girls to treat me like I was a kid] (6) Knowing when to keep quiet (7) Letting me win the arguments ;-) (8) Ability to love in a deep manner (9) The warmth she reflects (10) Understanding that she should not disturb me when I am debugging a frustrating error. I can think of another 20 more I guess. But these are the first ones that came to mind. Regards Nish p.s. I hope women won't find this too sexist. I am simply being plain honest! Just winding up the day and a friend keeps texting me (SMSing) about how she just can't seem to attract the right man (who made me her love doctor? damn!) Also seeing as The Lounge is unnoficially subtitled "Love Advice for elite Programmers" (or "L()v3 A6vic3 f()r l33t Pr()gramm3rs" if you will) I was wondering what you find attractive in the opposite (or errr equal) sex and what do you think is effective when you want to attract someone*? * goats do not count as someone, they count as something regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa "The greatest thing you will ever learn is to love, and be loved in return" - Moulin Rouge Sonork ID: 100.9903 Stormfront

Give her my number!!!! But since you asked... Nice, as in kind and considerate. Intelligent, though genius is not required. Interesting to listen to, with a variety of interests. High self esteem, and independent. Warm and affectionate. Ability to receive as well as give attention. Slender is a bonus, and a few bad habits do not disqualify - I have a few of my own, as do we all. A sign I watch for is the way she treats/speaks of children...

Perfection is not all it is cracked up to be :) A few faults in the line just make things more interesting. It is like those couples you see that never fight. It is sickening and what is worse is they are often unhappy in their relationship. They don't fight because they don't care enough, they are apathetic towards each other and that is just plain wrong. Janina and I often fight but it is because we are passionate about almost everything (as you have seen with my Lounge posts :-D .) However, the fact is I’m not very tall, and I am quite chesty. Any amount of a neckline is going to show cleavage. I’m not saying I do it intentionally. Fact is they attract men  and this was in answer to your question on what we thought was effective to attract someone. qomi wrote: ”The things I find attractive in women is much more subjective.” Paul Watson wrote: ”Oh come on! Paul Watson wrote: Waaaayyy to shy to give her my number, even if she wanted it." Yeah, I wasted most of my life being shy. I'm glad that's over:laugh: Paul Watson wrote: we could start a world wide "couples advice" tour Not being part of a couple I doubt I'd have much credibility, but feel free to open up shop. Perhaps I'll attend! It is far better to be with no one, than with the wrong one!
