I'm looking for a web image gallery component (ASP/ASP.NET), with the following requirements: o) Free o) Supports installation under a site subfolder o) Where registered users can upload photos... o) ... and before publishing should get approved by site admins. Do you know of anything that suits my needs? Luca The Price of Freedom is Eternal Vigilance.

Have a look at Gallery.[^] It's not ASP, but I think it meets all of your other requirements. I use it and it works rather well. Gary Kirkham Forever Forgiven and Alive in the Spirit He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose. - Jim Elliot Me blog, You read

Community Server[^] - actually contains forums, blogs, galleries, and a guestbook, but you can disable what you don't need. nGallery[^] - Community Server's gallery is based on nGallery. I'm not sure about the ability to moderate the photos, though.

You could always write the (approx) 50 lines of code to do all the stuff you need no?

Sounds promising. Now all I have to find is a way to host it on the net... thank you. Luca The Price of Freedom is Eternal Vigilance.

No I'm not. I've written code like this many times and it takes 50 lines of code max. In PHP of course. ;)

Of course. But sometimes I find it quicker to just write the damn thing myself given that I know how to write it. Then I have it for future use as well and if I'm really feeling nice I can share it with a site like CP. ;)
