Thank you for the email that you sent me. As a rule I don't accept off forum responses and normally just delete them. However, as you seemed to be addressing more than just me I thought I'd paste what you wrote so that the other people you were addressing have the opportunity to respond. I've replaced certain words. I hope this is now of an acceptable standard for this forum.

Colin Angus Mackay wrote: dosen't mean other people have to take your [jobbies]. ROTF! Excellent work, Colin. And to the author of the articles--congratulations. You have now guaranteed '1' votes from now until the forseeable future. I do so despise people that ask "what did I do wrong" or "why is this happening" and then can't take the criticism that follows. Yeah it hurts, but if you can't take the pain, then don't ask!!! Everyone here has been very constructive and helpful, and that email is totally out of the ballpark. Sigh. Marc My website Traceract

Your "articles" suck -- that's why. Both in terms of content and formatting. Go back to school you pea-brain! Or did you ever go? Maybe you grew up in a barn with all the other animals. You got my vote of '1' for all of your "articles". Plus, your attitude sucks and needs serious adjusting. If you were present I'd give you a swift hard kick in the ass. You need some serious psychological and social counseling. Get a clue! Get a life! Go to school!

Because many people decided your article is way below code project standards, and voted it down. If this happens, your article is mvoed to the "purgatory" section automatically. In CP speak, "purgatory" means your aticle is so bad it should be deleted, but there might be a grain of use to it. This gives you the chance to improve the article. In General Speak, Purgatory is a place where you definitely don't want to be, but you have a chance to make it through cleansed. In Christian Mythology, Purgatory is where souls go whose previous owners have declared "my bad, I'm sorry for my sins", but haven't done anything to make up for this. On your articles: You have submitted 4 articles which are way below CodeProject standards. CP is not a code repository, but a colleciton of articles, that explainin a concept, a particular solution, an idea, or a cool application. My suggestion to article posters, esp. to new ones is: Make the article as good as you possibly can make it with your current skills. Read other articles to get a "feeling" for writing one. Maybe you should bundle your efforts, submit one article of good quality. The topics you adress are definitely interesting to beginners and intermediates, but they lack content.
