I'm in Seattle...

In Hobart, we have 4 TV channels and nothing worth watching. In my hotel there are about 10, and it's worse. AND at 3 am there's NOTHING open in Seattle. I thought the US was a service oriented society ? Christian Graus - Microsoft MVP - C++

In India, we have hundreds of channels, and... *surprise* none are worth watching. I hate TV anyway. Cheers, Vikram.

Mike Mullikin wrote: Prepare to have many of your preconcieved ideas about the US disproved. Yeah, I expected that. Just not that particular one. Damn, I can get a burger at 3 am in HOBART. Oh, and when I tried to call home, it wouldn't work so I dialled an operator. I can't reverse charges to Australia, I can't pay with VISA, and they tried to correct the number I was dialling by giving me area codes that were obsolete 10 years ago, and told me to dial 55 for Melbourne ( 55 is extreme country Victoria ). I was polite, it's not her fault her info is out of date, but when I hung up, I was still on the call when I listened to dial, and she was telling the staff how I had no idea to call my own country, and I was stupid enough to think they didn't know. It turned out my daughter had disconnected the phone, I tried my way again and it worked. Christian Graus - Microsoft MVP - C++

I've just returned from Greece and a thing that have surprised me quite a lot is that all the films in TV where in English and subtittled in Greeck. It seems to me that these thing have to improve the English knowledge of people a lot, isn't it?? I haven't noticed because I've been in touristic places so it's normal to speak in English... Marc Soleda. ... she said you are the perfect stranger she said baby let's keep it like this... Tunnel of Love, Dire Straits.
