I was polite, it's not her fault her info is out of date, but when I hung up, I was still on the call when I listened to dial, and she was telling the staff how I had no idea to call my own country, and I was stupid enough to think they didn't know. In greece/athens we have about 20 channels. if tomorrow they make a mistake and start trasmiting 20 indian stations instead, i wouldn't notice for long time. :) What is really depressing is the low quality of news. :((
I've just returned from Greece and a thing that have surprised me quite a lot is that all the films in TV where in English and subtittled in Greeck. It seems to me that these thing have to improve the English knowledge of people a lot, isn't it?? I haven't noticed because I've been in touristic places so it's normal to speak in English... By the way, I should have mentioned in my other post that there are some restaurants that are open 24/7 in any city. I tend to forget them as I'm not usually looking to eat that late :) Denny's and IHOP are two that I can think of. I live near one of the major interstates; there are a number of hotels in the area; so lots of eateries and a shopping mall. I have a 24h McDonalds (if you can truly call that food :) ) within 3 blocks of my place. 0.5 - 1 Mile Denny's, Perkins, IHOP (International House of Pankakes), Ember's All 24 hour.
