You know, I just cannot see wasting the time to go to one of these events. See how VS2005 will boost my power and creativity? Marc My website Traceract Understanding Simple Data Binding Diary Of A CEO - Preface

Might be worth it to get the free copy of VS2005 Professional though... Absolute faith corrupts as absolutely as absolute power Eric Hoffer All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. Edmund Burke

Marc's got an MSDN Universal Subscription...he doesn't need the free copy. On the other hand, if you didn't attend PDC, don't have an MSDN Universal subscription, and don't want just the Express products, then yeah...you'll probably want to attend one of the launch events. They'll present a lot of information geared towards those just now looking at VS2005 and .NET 2.0 and you'll get a free eval copy of VS2005. So then it would be worth it. :)
Picture a huge catholic cathedral. In it there's many people, including a gregorian monk choir. You know, those who sing beautifully. Then they start singing, in latin, as they always do: "Ad hominem..." -Jörgen Sigvardsson

The site doesn't say that it is an evaluation copy. From the looks of it, I'd say it's a full-version.
