I can't say what to drink, but I can tell you not to try my brothers method of drinking. He wandered into a pub and got to talking with a couple there, laughing and exchanging stories. I'm in Ireland but not of Ireland. Don't forget your camera - Ireland (and especially Waterford) is very scenic. Although Waterford is in the "sunny south east" it will be wet (and cold) when you get here - at least until may. Rain gear is recomended. Waterford is hurling mad and I'd recommend you try and go to see a game or two of this extraordinary sport.
