i'm pretty sure that the day Iran makes its first strike against Israel will be the last day for many years that it does anything more complicated than smouldering. Cleek | Image Toolkits | Thumbnail maker

I agree, but I wonder if Israel will strike their nuke facility BEFORE they have the bomb. Israel seems justified when the president of Iran is calling for it's destruction, while building a nuke. I hope Iran comes to it's senses and stops this crap, but I'm not holding my breath.

They have done it before. Maybe the US should sell them a B2. Ryan

Not really.I am not sure of the distance involved but the F15 Strike Eagle ( the Air to Ground version of the F15) hasonly 2400 miles of range and can't carry a great deal of ordinance. What Israel really needs is about 20-25 Tomahawks. I think we had better start keeping close watch or that many may dissapear from our stockpile any time now. Richard Suppose you were an idiot... I wish Bush would just go ahead and invade Iran and Syria. Politically, he doesn't have much left to lose, and we certainly need to take them out. "Capitalism is the source of all true freedom."

Well we could wait for the UN to take action, but then we would all die.

While I, for one, would love to see the draft reinstituted, we don't need it for that purpose. Our forces in the area are more than adequate for the job. Most of the insurgents we are fighting are coming from those two countries, or getting their supplies from them, so Iraq would have a respite from most of the violence. Our military remains at full strength, and revenues are flowing into the government right now thanks to Bush's keeping taxes low, which is about the only thing he has done right. Economically we are in a perfect situation to do it. "Capitalism is the source of all true freedom."

Wow! I'd love to see that too, but for the oposite reason of yours. It would be like trying to extinguish fire with gasoline. Americans would become radioactive in the middle-east for the next 20 years. You would have to say goodbye for cheap oil, goodbye to any influence in the region, ... Oh, well, it would be to good to be true. Even Bush can't be so crazy...:sigh: Dadinho é o caralho! Meu nome agora é Zé Pequeno, porra!

That would go over real well in the Islamic world! "Capitalism is the source of all true freedom."

Yeah, that's plainly the case. I certainly hope that is not the plan though. Can you imagine what would come next ? Christian Graus - Microsoft MVP - C++

So what made you dislike Americans so much? Absolute faith corrupts as absolutely as absolute power Eric Hoffer All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. Edmund Burke
