Hehe i put that on purpose ;) True enough though, i was working for a startup a few years back, and late hours at the office were the order of the day. I always managed to go home to sleep; however, very often i would go back in the morning and find someone sleeping either in the board room on the floor, or in a car in the basement garage. _________________________ Kri5

By the same logic, you can argue that smoking improves one's health too for ppl who live/work in a non-smoking office and have to walk outside to puff.. X| (just in case you're wondering...i don't smoke ;P) _________________________ Kri5

I don't know.... Refridgerator, bottled water (cooled), heating, cooling, a shower in the mens's room? Pull out a sleeping bag and it sure ain't as rough as camping. The best thing about having a network printer that's a 2 minute walk away is that, you can click Print, take a deep breath and do the walking routine to the printer location, and there - the print outs are ready, you pick them up and walk back. Not only do you get a good nice walk (all the better for your health), but you also avoid the ignominy of staring at the dumb printer waiting for it to finish printing your documents.

depends on how much printing he does and if stairs are involved...5 reports an hour would translate to 80 minutes of walking each day :huff::sweat::puff: Steve

After twenty rounds to the printer this morning, I am wondering if it is indeed a very nice thing to be the guy that's farthest away from the printer at work :sigh:

I hate Network printers. Longtime back I lost a job due to that. Some HR moron printed personal (employees $$) information and was lazy to get the document. Meanwhile I printed before him and after him. It was evening, so I picked my papers went home. Later at home I realized that I mistakenly got the personal document printed by that HR guy. Stupid me, I tored the paper and dumped into the trash. Told about this incident to my roommate, who in turn told almost everybody in the company(20 people). By the next morning, they called for a meeting....blah..blah...HR person got reprimanded and I lost the job b'cos I shouldn't have taken that paper. At the sametime I already got another offer on hand (waiting for good moment to resign), so I immediately switched jobs. Lucky me!! Long story short, it's better to stare at the printer than falling into trouble.

Actually I get more of a workout carrying my laptop to meetings so I can view & annotate the spec being reviewed without having to first print it out.
