I've been waiting years for this concept - my idea being to make intellisense in VS.NET easier by having up/down keys below the space bar to quickly select from the intellisense list. Well *maybe* this MS keyboard provides a solution: http://www.everythingusb.com/microsoft_natural_ergonomic_keyboard_4000.html[^] Has anyone tried this keyboard, and if so can the back/forward keys below the space bar be programmed as up/down shortcuts?

Yikes! It took me years to come to the realization that the main problem with my aching neck and back etc was due to the crazily oversized keyboards with the pointless number pad on the right side. That's just over the top completely. I finally found a keyboard that has normal sized keys and is about the size of a notebook keyboard without the crazy number pad for data entry clerks it's much easier on my mouse arm not having to reach so far over all the time and no key is out of reach for touch typing including the arrow keys which are easy to use with intellisense. (although I find it much easier and faster to just type as many letters as required to hit the right option in intellisense lists)

I have it. I posted a "review" about it on my blog here: http://briandela.com/blog/archive/2005/09/26/781.aspx[^] I must say however that I have never used those back and forward keys... They are not the easiest to reach. Regards, Brian Dela :-) Blog^ Co-author of The Outlook Answer Book... Go on, order^ it today!

Do you still use the "reverse-tilt"? I have one of the older Microsoft Natural keyboards so I guess I could try it with something under the front?

Yep. This morning one of the guys here was looking at it and I explained that you could use it without the "reverse-tilt".. I took it off to type normally and I thought it was really weird.. I stuck it back on very quickly. :-)

Yeah... I originally used it without the tilt but since I started to use it with the tilt I have had a LOT less pains and it is generally more comfortable... once you get used to it :-) Regards, Brian Dela :-) Blog^ Co-author of The Outlook Answer Book... Go on, order^ it today!
