He is the big guy at Fox News, and has his own prime time opinion based show. He is one of several pundits, especially at Fox, who are making a stink about the secularizatio of Christmas. I don't entirely buy into it, as Christmas is also certainly not about commercialization or pagan trees, etc. However, many schools, for example, such as the ones my children go to in the heart of the bible belt, at Christmas time will have religious symbols from all the worlds religions in the classrooms - except for those of christianity. Okay: means nothing to me: never heard of him. This sounds like a case of Americans believing that America is the whole world and everyone else should automatically know what you're talking about. We don't and neither do we really care. Oh, except if you don't let me in at xmas for my vacation then I'll be really pissed. What, exactly, is it that Christians have against Christianity? You don't get other 'beliefs' beating themselves up the way you lot do. Jesus must be spinning in his, well, wherever it is you think he is.

Those songs are very reminiscent of my child hood, driving to Bovey to get the biggest tree they had, toboggoning on Dartmoor, drinking mulled wine (yes, we did drink wine as kids), my dad shooting decorations off the christmas tree with my air rifle, snowball fights in the house, ahh, such memories... And then my dads mood would change and the whole holliday would go to shit. But, there you go, thats what you get for being the progeny of a manic depressive who drinks too much. Nunc est bibendum

I've never seen them live, but I'd love to sometime. :) The most memorable gig I ever saw (apart from a spoof band doing Wuthering Heights on helium balloons - I kid you not!) has got to be Queensryche at Donington in '91.
