Programming question

Check out the C# "programming question" that's mucking things up in that forum, the one down at the bottom titled "A new open-source file browser". Can it get deleted? Or am I the only one seeing a problem? Regards, Jeff Varszegi

Or am I the only one seeing a problem? Ouch. Looks like a malformed message. I've reported it to the webmaster. In future, if you see problems like this, the best thing to do is to either send a message to webmaster@codeproject.com or use the Forum problems or suggestions?[^] link that is at the top of every forum page. Thanks a lot. I was sorta hoping to kick off a lounge discussion about the spam problem, but I guess nobody wants to play. I'll now sink back into well-deserved obscurity... Seriously, though, thanks. Regards, Jeff Varszegi

Seriously, though, thanks. Personally, I don't think there is a lot we can do with the spam problem, without making it more difficult for genuine users. Forcing people to register to post questions, whilst personally I think it would be a good idea, it's not hard to create a brand new account everytime you want to spam. It just takes a little more time. The best thing we can do is report spam messages to the webmasters and let them deal with them. Michael CP Blog [^]
