Hi... Frankly I am fed up of design mode of ASP .NET (VS .NET 2003)... it dies when I switch a form with more then 20 controls (most of them are ASP .NET Server controls while some are custom control and user) from code to design... I mean it takes about one minute to render the controls and display something. I now use Dream Weaver for designing aspx while visual studio for coding. Anyone knows has Microsoft released any patch to remove this STUPID problem? btw, just to add some oil on fire, in Visual Studio .NET 2002, if you switch from code to design view in a big form: the whole aspx code used to vanish and file was automatically saved! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mE! ------------------- Therez No Place like ... 127.0.0.1

I have not experienced these problems. The last large forms I worked on where over 100 controls. While it did take a bit of time, it was not too bad. Just made my wish I had a dual Xeon ;) Rocky <>< www.HintsAndTips.com www.GotTheAnswerToSpam.com
