Where's my Bob?
-
As I sit here at home, recovering from surgery (and hence having an extraorinarily large amout of time on my hands), I realized that my profile doesn't have me listed as a "Code Project Supporter" and my posts have the Joe Blow icon next to my name instead of Halo Bob, even though I purchased my copy of Visual Studio .NET through this site. Having a Bob next to my name on posts was the main reason I bought VS.NET in the first place. Well, that and the productivity gains I got versus using Notepad ;) Who do I need to contact to get Bobbed? Charlie if(!curlies){ return; }

Huh ! Notepad is still one of the best editors. Any change from notepad will cause more transitional problems than its worth. Sure a couple of hundred dollars for a halo is a wise investment, and it's nice that CP throws in a free copy of VS.NET. :-) Regardz Colin J Davies

Actually, UltraEdit is my editor of choice for miscellaneous text files. Nothing against Notepad, but 47 ems is a bit much for a tab stop, no? (What the heck is the caret doing way over there? I sewar I only pressed tab once!) Charlie if(!curlies){ return; }

Hey Charlie, If you purchased using a different name or email address than your CodeProject membership then our system won't be able to automatically link up the purchase with your account. Please send me the date you purchased (I did a quick scan but nothing jumped out at me) and I'll have this fixed pronto. cheers, Chris Maunder

Chris, I don't think any of my info has changed since then. I'm pretty sure I still have the invoice somewhere around here, so I'll dig it up and send you what I find. Thank you, Charlie if(!curlies){ return; }
