But Microsoft is missing out free testers. ;) //Start of joke Never comment ur code. If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand !!! //End of joke

Yes you are correct. The express version was available for download (no S&H cost) for some time now. I wanted to stress that the FULL (Whidbey) version is available to general public as of now for order. I updated the original post to be more precise. Mike M WinInsider.com - News for Microsoftonians

For some reason I am unable to look up my order status after I placed my VS 2005 Beta 1 order. Is anyone else too unable to lookup their order status? Or is it just me? Order Status page [^] Mike M WinInsider.com - News for Microsoftonians

Not just you, it says I dont have any orders. When in fact I accidentally ordered it twice. However, at the customer assistance page it says both are backordered. Signature under construction.

Great thanks Mike *edit* whoa -- VS 2005 Enterprise complete version for...free? wow...why don't they just let us download it? #include "witty_sig.h"

Also, this version will expire in the fullness of time, they get you addicted, then they push up the price :-) Christian I have drunk the cool-aid and found it wan and bitter. - Chris Maunder
