Your workdays seem much like my university days! How do you cope with it? I'm impressed... -- Arigato gozaimashita!
LOL! Lotsa practice, mate :) Seriously, it's one thing to be known as a workaholic by non-programmers (i.e., the unwashed masses). But when your fellow developers say you work too much :~ Cheers, Tom Archer "Use what talents you possess. Well, as long as your fine with it, then go for it. But once you start feeling depressed because you have to work, take a break, or you may be out of "the zone" for a very very long time. The last time I stressed myself hard, I was out for almost a year. On a good day, I couldn't write more than 50-100 lines (coherent, if there is such a term in programming). After that I always take a little break or at least slow down a little so I don't burn myself out. I often work weekends when I feel I want to, but as soon as I feel that I really don't want to, I just don't do it. Being burned out is almost as bad as being out of a job - it's really depressing. Take care, live long, and prosper! :) -- Arigato gozaimashita!

Having done this for over 20 years now, I've definitely had periods where I the last thing I cared about doing was coding. Hence, my varied interested we talked about the other day. When I was younger it was cool to just code day and night and never take a day off to "have a life". Nowadays, I still "work" a lot of hours; I just don't use them all on only one endeavor. Now, I split my time between lots of interests. Jörgen Sigvardsson wrote: Take care, live long, and prosper Same to ya', Jörgen :) Cheers, Tom Archer "Use what talents you possess.
