I am sorry for the two posts in a row, I am currently at state of boredom and unable-to-move-from-the-meeting-I-am-in-dom!!! But just curious what kind of pet lovers we have out there. I have two geckos and soon-to-come puppy. What about everyone else? ------ I am the sole owner of all comments/statements made by myself, and they do not represent those of my company in any way. Furthermore, it’s a shame it has come to the point where we have to make statements like this. Cheers! ====================== Matthew R. Miller www.computersmarts.net[^]

Lots of chickens, seven sheep, and a llama. Always get a couple stray cats, and the neighbor's dogs seem to like my place.

I just saw a show about Geckos and how they grip on vertical surfaces and in passing they mentioned how vicious they are. They were hissing at their "owner" in a very scary manner. "Synthetic Gecko hairs promise walking up walls..."[^]

I love cats. One of my neighbors had a lioness in his garden and we used to run and jump together near the fence that separated us. I've been so crazy about it that once i took her head in my hands. Not safe but who tf cares... Unfortunately, they took her back to Africa a week ago :(

Here's a picture of our dog, Scamp - a border-collie cross - on a cold, snowy December day on the beach. He died after from liver cancer just over two years ago now. The only downside to pets...when you get attached to them over a period of time (15 years in this case). Stuart Dootson 'Java, Basic, who cares - it's all a bunch of tree-hugging hippy cr*p'

one cat, one dog. Had two cats but one of them got cancer and died. Which brings up the flip side to animals. They die. And that sucks.... a lot. But I keep getting more.

I love dogs, and we had a Golden Retriever for 9 years. After it died we have not got a new one though, but it might still come :) - Anders ShotKeeper, my Photo Album / Organizer Application[^]

I grew up with a Golden Retriever from my age zero through to seventeen. Loved her to bits - brilliant temperament and a great companion. I know everyone is biased towards the kind of dogs they grew up with, but if I was to ever have another pet I'd get a Golden Retriever in a beat. :) I can't keep a pet right now though, I don't have the time to care for one. :((
