A customer is driving me crazy!

Sometimes, customers can drive me nuts! This guy is complaining because he can't see the whole of my application on his monitor. The minimum resolution needed is 800x600 and I suspect he's using 640x480. Plus, he has those LARGE FONTS turned on so he can only see part of the labels. Is there an easy way for me (.NET) to set his font size to Normal and turn off accessibility features? I tried to walk him through the whole process, but he's just not computer savvy enough to read what's on screen. (!) He's using Windows ME. Thanks! Carl

Considering that it would only happen when the UPS ran out of juice because he ignored the warning alarms of power loss and let the batteries drain... the two programmers then, me and another guy just stared at him completely speachless. Luckily the other guy has a better sense of humor than I do, and eventually started outlining a battery backed overlay to the screen that had a seperate interface. Ask him to upgrade to "Windows Uranium Edition", which is required for the last update that was is installed automatically.

After all, if you didn't have a perfect vision and needed to work with accessibility and large fonts at 640x480, you'd love a software that does that, right? Yes, even I am blogging now!

If your eyesight is so bad that you cant use a program that needs a minimum requirement of 800x600, then maybe you shouldn't be using the software, eh?? The software was designed for 800x600 and you dont meet the minimum requirements, so you cant use it. Dont expect the software to change because you dont meet it's specifications. (generic "you" of course) The kindest thing you can do for a stupid person, and for the gene pool, is to let him expire of his own dumb choices.
