What did you expect. This is European neosocialism at its best - conspiracy theories, lies, and America bashing. It's our best export product. :sigh: Some facts, thoughts, and media reporting examples [^] about this issue. Tomaz

Some facts, thoughts, and media reporting examples [^] about this issue. The second item on this list concerns a German reporter who dared to ask American officials the following heinous question: It's a tremendous effort you're conducting right now. And how far are there political considerations? You know, there has been high criticisms of the war in Iraq. And how far is it the attempt of the United States to present itself as the benevolent superpower and to decrease the criticism of the past, especially in countries like Indonesia, which is a very important Muslim country? Fancy suggesting that America might be trying to improve its image! What a shocking thought. Here is a report on what Colin Powell had to say in a recent interview: The image of U.S. choppers delivering aid to tsunami victims may ease anti-American sentiment in the Muslim world and help in the fight against terrorism, Secretary of State Colin Powell said yesterday. "We'd be doing it regardless of religion," Powell told a news conference in Jakarta, the Indonesian capital. "But I think it does give the Muslim world and the rest of the world an opportunity to see American generosity, American values in action — that we care about every individual and the dignity of every individual," he said. Powell, who is on a fact-finding tour of the tsunami-ravaged region with Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, said the United States is not an "anti-Muslim nation," as critics of the war in Iraq contend. "America is a diverse society where we respect all religions," he said. "And I hope that as a result of our efforts, as a result of our helicopter pilots being seen by the citizens of Indonesia helping them, that value system of ours will be reinforced." New York Post[^] Jerusalem Post[^] So I guess Colin Powell is a European neosocialist peddling conspiracy theories, lies, and America bashing. You really are full of crap Tomaz.

As usual Dubya took some time to digest. That's why the slow response. Jeremy Davis wrote: (2) The money given by America so far, doesn't come close to the $8billion they've wasted in Iraq Iraq promises bigger rewards. So what's the news here? Jeremy Davis wrote: (3) There is a death toll the same every day in Africa, so we should be just as shocked about that too but it doesn't get the publicity. >Well, a very few of us white europeans go there for vacations. So we simply don't give a f***. Bzzzt, wrong. South Africa receives millions of foreign tourists every year, a majority of which are European. The biggest group being German. The rest of Africa also receives it's fair share of tourists. Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia and up until recently, Zimbabwe. I admit certain areas of Africa do not get many tourists e.g. Sudan, Liberia and the Congo. They come to see lions, elephants and even tigers (no, we don't frikkin have tigers!) wandering amongst our cities. Which reminds me, I have to go feed Tabanchu, my pet zebra. Plus the Great Rift Valley (poor Grand Canyon), Kilimanjaro, Victoria Falls (from the Botswana side now), Kariba, Lake Victoria, Kalahari, Sahara, Etosha, Okavango Delta and much more. But you are right; They still don't give a fuck. regards, Paul Watson South Africa The Code Project South-East Asia Disaster: How you can help Pope Pius II said "The only prescription is more cowbell. blogI never said SH was a good leader. What I did say was my objections against taking the country by force. As you can see now, Iraq is far from the USA worshiping muslim state Bush had hoped for. And please don't use the word compassion when talking about the invasion of Iraq. Compassion was the last reason why Iraq was invaded. -- I got nasty habits.
