A bit of a morbid topic maybe but something worth thinking about. If you could only choose one song to play at your own funeral and/or reception which would it be? If you can, say why. Mine would be Ace of Spades. Preferably live - even if by then it would be a Motorhead tribute band. I just think that as well as being an excellent song it would sum up the occasion perfectly. I'd rather go to hell on a good note than some old-fashioned hymn that no one can sing properly.

Ooo that'll be fun... Saint Peter: "Ah, Andrew - nice to see - " Anna-Jayne: "It's Anna-Jayne." SP: "Ah... er um well, it says here we sent down an Andrew." AJ: "I've been meaning to talk to you about that." SP: "Hmmm... this is going to mess up our quota you know." AJ: "Quota?" SP: "Yes. We mostly 'reap what we sow' as it were." AJ: (wryly) "How awful for you." SP: "Fancy a bit of a break down south?" AJ: (even more wryly) "Sounds lovely..." :)

I think it would depend on my mood when I write up my LW&T. Maybe something from Queen's Made In Heaven album. I might have them install some animatronics in the coffin for some fun.

Well the geek in me, kind of likes the idea of the music played towards the end of 'Return of the Jedi' as Luke lights Vaders funeral pyre. I think however, I'll go with "You're My Best Friend" by Queen. Michael CP Blog [^] Development Blog [^]

Perhaps "A Whiter Shade Of Pale" by Procol Harum Ant. I'm hard, yet soft.
                  I'm coloured, yet clear.

AJ: "I've been meaning to talk to you about that." SP: "Hmmm... this is going to mess up our quota you know." AJ: "Quota?" SP: "Yes. We mostly 'reap what we sow' as it were." AJ: (wryly) "How awful for you." SP: "Fancy a bit of a break down south?" AJ: (even more wryly) "Sounds lovely..." :)

I don't think that's how it works, somehow.
