      Most Defintely :) :) ..but i think SoftIce only works in windows..how about the other platforms..Solaris etc.. :) Hey does anyone know of a device that can plug into a cable and capture the data that is being transmitted?.. char *p="char *p=%c%s%c; main(){ printf(p,34,p,34);}";main(){printf(p,34,p,34); } Hard work has a future payoff. Laziness pays off now.

        Yes it's true. :(( I made a mistake. Hopefully though, the thread above this will soon push this one off into the enternal darkness of unread posts, meaning that only you, me and the other guy will ever know.

          Hey Guys, While driving to work today i had this vision of the hacker's PC..a machine that could connect to any network and any device imaginable..that would have all the software necessary to break into systems and crack software.. So i was wondering if u could give suggestions about the possible configurations for such a machine.. For eg.. I was thinking that on the hardware front it would have to have a processor capable of running multiple kinds of OS'es including Mac OS .. and also it would need to have all kinds of interfaces and ports or atleast adapters to covert between them..it should be able to connect to various kind of networks..so any idea about the NIC's??...just give me some ideas..i might even build the thing :-D :-D Also on the software front it would have to multi OS..suggestions on which ones?..and have the most common compilers, debuggers, disassemblers etc...all the necesary docs about possible Exploits for various OS'es and software..password crackers and the likes.. What say??..any more ideas? int a=10000,b,c=2800,d,e,f[2801],g;main(){for(;b-c;)f[b++]=a/5;for(;d=0,g=c*2;c-=14,printf("%.4d",e+d/a),e=d%a)for(b=c;d+=f[b]*a,f[b]=d%--g,d/=g--,--b;d*=b);}

          Well some things you'd need in order to accomplish that goal. * The fastest and largest possible array of same-instruction-set CPUs linked together to share tasks. * Some sort of communication device which is capable of both sending and receiving every type of signal imaginable (even smoke-signals :)). * A truly wonderful AI system that could figure out (decode) all the new protocols that would pop up. (Not to mention figuring out how to use all of that networking equipment in the first place. ;P) * So much spare time, that even David Wulff would be put to shame!!! ;) John
