Hi, I am looking for an graphic program like Macromedias Fireworks, but a little bit cheaper (or for free, if possible) and maybe not so ressource eating. The functionality i need is that it works with vectors, the text can be changed and it has an output as gif/jpg/png with antialiasing. Amy suggestions? Greets Roland

I believe Inkscape is exactly what you're looking for. I downloaded it but I haven't tried it yet.

Or PaintShop Pro. AFAIK They used to have a very generous tryout period (90 days). Or you could try out GnuPaint. Hello, One good GNU Licensed painting software is The Gimp. It can be found at http://gimp.org[^] It has quite a few features, and you can also download many additional plugins. Hope this helps, Programmer2k4 My sig: "The so-called 'Bugs' do not exist, they are merely features hidden by developers with message boxes that say 'An unhandled exception has occurred'." - Programmer2k4 "And it is a professional faux pas to pay someone else to destroy your computer when you are perfectly capable of destroying it yourself." - Roger Wright I now use my CodeProject Blog!
