Microsoft Using .Net in Anger

No, they have your name in a database and know more about you than you could possibly know. Everyone born since 1985 has been tracked by Microsoft since their date of birth. Most of us old folks are still a mystery to them because most of our records are still on paper, and transcribing them is a massive undertaking, even with the thousands of people they have doing it. Eventually (if it hasn't already become a common practice), microchips will be subcutaneously inserted into each newborne so that Microsoft can keep tabs on us in real-time, simultaneously trying to see if we're typing a letter, and updating their database on our actions. The chip is powered by body heat and the flow of blood through nearby blood vessels. In an emergency, the chip can also leech power from high-pressure flow through urinary tracts, or the exertion placed on the sphincter muscles when we try to allow the sideways birth of monster turds. Excess power can be stored in un-used portions of the brain. At night (around 3:30am for me), the chip uses the power from this energy reserve to communicate with Microsoft's data gathering system (sometimes I take more than one righteous dump a day, just to give them something to talk about). hey paul just ask where the toilet (as opposed to the bathroom, washroom, little boys / girls room, etc etc) is at any american family dinner party and see them blush ... i think their obsession with toilet humour comes from that americans ... gotta love 'em 'cos you bury 'em in the backyard (specially if you live in a 3rd floor apt) :) --- "every year we invent better idiot proof systems and every year they invent better idiots ... and the linux zealots still aren't being sterilized"

In the US, those of Southern and Western cultural influence (i.e. 'Scots-Irish') are far more inclined to use 'earthy' humor than people in New England, for example, where the major cultural influence is more English proper. I would wager if you went anyplace where there had been a higher percentage of Irish and Scots cultural influence rather than English, you would find a greater tendency toward vulgar humor. So let's suppose that MS DOES track your every movement...what then? Do they sell that data to toy/music/hardware/pharmaceutical companies?? You could be on to something. Maybe that's why they show mcdonald's ads AD NAUSEUM and play Britanny Spears and the boy bands on an infinite cycle.. But imagine the terabytes of storage space needed to store data on EVERY single person with a chip installed.. And (knowing MS) just HOW reliable is the chip anyways?? Why can't they implant the chip into more people who let's say... (a) watch porn all the time (= more porn on tv for the rest of us!) (b) never EVER touch spam (will it ever die?) (c) Only watches Britanny Spears videos for the porn factor (see a) (d) Never EVER buys Boy Band CD's, UNLESS they are intimidated by their girlfriends/wives who exploit the porn factor (See a) (e) Blast any type of lovesick romance movies into the stratosphere! (f) Enjoys watching strongmen competitions vs. Ally Mcbeal weenies. (g) Who desperately wish that we'd air drop Celine Dion and Mecha-Streisand into Afghanistan to "help the suffering" there's loads of others, but this would be a good starting point for said chip. As Borusa always said, There's nothing more useless than a lock with a voice print.

Like John Simmons, I have also never seen those movies. I guess they were American made, so maybe you have a point to that extent. Still, I don't think toilet humor is specific to American's. Look at Monty Python, lots of toilet humor there. As far as foreign perspectives of American culture is concerned, I would say that there is probably more cultural diversity in the U.S. than in any similar sized population on this planet. For many American's, myself included, Hollywood does a better job of bringing foreign culture (esp. European)to us than it does taking our culture to them.
